Shopping Impulses to Avoid
Women can be said a born “shopper”. Shopping can sometimes heal the pains and make us be happy again. That’s why we usually have wrong shopping impulses and be regret about what we bought later. To avoid this situation, we should avoid the following shopping impulses.
Buying clothes that don’t fit.
You probably already know that you should NEVER buy something too small, thinking you’ll lose weight, but did you know that little details like the length of your jacket sleeves or the place your pants hem rest can make or break an outfit?
The best way to get perfect fit is to have a tailor alter the garment.
Creating a mish-mash wardrobe by buying odds and ends.
Buying up odds and ends on sale may seem to make sense. After all, the easy availability of off-price merchandise has lulled us into thinking that minor purchases won’t blow our wardrobe concept or budget.
Actually, it’s the little things that kill your wardrobe. Without a plan, you can end up with tons of clothes and nothing to wear. But it’s never too late to change your habits.
Getting stuck in a style rut.
Sticking with classics has been conventional style wisdom for ages, and for women with full lives and limited resources this is still a sure way to investment dressing.
The problem is that as we grow older, we sometimes become a little too comfortable wearing our old standbys (or just doing “replenishment” shopping each season).
Sometimes all it takes is tweaking the basics that you already own to look fabulous.
Next time, when you go shopping, remember to avoid these impulses, though it’s hard.

How to Shop Wisely
Women love shopping, but shopping sometimes will make us penniless. Mindless shopping is an addiction. Once you start substitute the feeling of ‘happiness’ and satisfaction from purchase for real feelings you might end up being a shopaholic. The joy from purchase lasts minutes, an hour maximum. Then it just becomes another clutter in your closet, garage, or basement. So, how to shop wisely becomes a question. The following tips may give you some help.
Plan carefully
Before going shopping make a list of things you need to buy. Sometimes you might want something you don’t really need, but if it makes you happy in the long-run, it will probably worth buying.
Know your size
Only buy clothes that fit you right now and fit you well. Consider where and with what you will wear that top or pants. Arrange your clothes by outfits so that it will be easier for you to buy clothes you really need and it will more than likely mean you will wear it.
Do not fall for fashion trends
Buying anything new that’s coming to the market will most likely make you a fashion victim. Know what suits you, try on various clothes and choose the one that accentuates your good features and hides your flaws. Things suit you the best will always make you fashionable.
Shop with cash
Cash can limit your spending. Take sum of money with you that will cover only your list of necessary things. If you saw something you liked, take a second or minute to think. Estimate the value of the product and its necessity. If you can’t really think of the reason why you need this item other than that you like it, leave it and proceed with your list.
Wisely shopping save your time, money and space.
