• Are You Feeling the Turban Yet?

  So last Fashion Week I noticed that loads of fashionable girls were wearing turbans and head wraps, both on the runway and off. Now, I see the turban trend is trickling over to celebdom, with the likes of Salma Hayek wearing one (photo, left.) While I certainly love the drama of headgear of any type, and recognize the utility of the headwrap for both religious and health reasons (to cover hair loss), I am not sure that the turban as a fashion statement is going to be something I’ll try. You?

  Only one more day left of Fashion Week and the tents are far from dying down. Bryant Park tent virgin, Tory Burch, shows her line followed by gods of women’s fashion, Oscar de la Renta and Michael Kors. We are sure to see some fun and interesting looks from Anna Sui and Proenza Schouler. Only one more day left and we don’t want it to end…well, I don’t know about those of you who are sleep and meal deprived!
