When Victoria Beckham announced she was foraying into the world of fashion, a collective scoff rang out around the world. Would anyone, could anyone ever take the queen of the WAGs, with her fake hair and boobs, seriously as a fashion designer?
Well, guess who’s having the last laugh? It has been reported today that Victoria’s eponymous label generated sales in excess of £15 million in the first quarter of 2011, up a staggering 70 per cent on the same period last year.
If this trend continues, Beckham will be in line for sales of £60 million by year-end, and with her second, cheaper line ‘Victoria by Victoria Beckham’ going on sale in the New Year, it appears she may have a fully-fledged fashion empire on her hands.
Victoria, 37, debuted her label in 2008 to rave reviews. Primarily a collection of dresses, the range has expanded over the past three years to include separates and luxury handbags which sell for up to £18,000.
She has gathered a significant celebrity following and won over the scathing fashion pack who now clamours for a ticket to her bi-annual show at New York Fashion Week.

The glitter and glamour from the outside is built with hard work, self discipline and seriousness, because the product’s presentation depends on the perfect appearance and presence of fashion models. Fashion models are known to promote lines of clothing and accessories for potential customers. There is a live show, as mentioned above, but this can also be organized as an exhibition, focusing not only on clothes.
